Amber (Jewels Cafe Book 1)

By Mia Harlen

I'm in love with my best friend. But one sip of a spelled pumpkin spice latte, and two shifters are calling me their mate.

It's hard enough being a chameleon with wonky powers, but opening Jewels Cafe with my secret crush? Maybe not the best idea. Hiding my feelings for him is getting harder and harder. And if we don't get customers soon, our cafe will go out of business.

So, as a last ditch effort, we create a signature drink. A pumpkin spice latte meant to save our cafe.

I take one sip, and the sweetest bear shifter is drawn to me like honey. A sexy bunny shifter offers me his carrot. The guys don't even seem to mind that I randomly shift (and half-shift) into everyone I meet.

But will I be able to juggle the three men in my life? Will we find a way to save Jewels Cafe? Or will another spell tear us apart?

Amber is part of the Jewels Cafe series, a collection of reverse harem romances set in the same small town. Each book contains its own Happily Ever After. Be sure to explore the other titles in the series.

After all, I’m an immortal vampire. I don’t want to stick around to watch my lovers die.

What I do want is delicious treats, but when an errant love spell hits, I fall madly in love with three of my man-snacks:
  • A wolf shifter who’s an Instagram model.

  • A Pegasus shifter who shifts when he sneezes.

  • Bob.
Now, stupid feelings start screwing up my quest for free food.

To make matters worse, I can’t avoid these men. I need their help to stop an old nemesis from turning everyone in Silver Springs into vampires... and worst of all, tainting all the ice cream. And did I mention trying to kill me and my men?

Can I save my lovers and the town? And are these new men worth the risk to my heart?

Sapphire is a paranormal reverse harem novel. It’s part of the Jewels Cafe shared universe.

It's been a while since I've read and enjoyed a paranormal/supernatural novel as I used to read a lot of them when I was in my late teens / early adult years but then I got over them as they felt all the same. Recently, however, this new series Jewel's Cafe caught my eye were a number of authors have written a book using a gem. The books are also Reverse Harem which drew me in. Amber starts off with Amber and Julian at the cafe that they now own - Jewel's Cafe in Silver Springs. It was great when they first opened but the last few months, they have only had the odd customer in. To make matters worse for Amber - her arch-nemesis Minerva aka Mini has opened a successful bakery across the road from them and is always hanging around Julian. For the past six years, Amber has loved Julian but never had the courage to tell him as whenever Mini's around - she catches his attention. Amber is a chameleon shifter and her last straw was when she accidentally shifted into Minerva and saw the way Julian looked at her. She leaves and falls into the arms of Wes - a bear shifter who tells her she is his mate. The pair head back to the cafe where Wes tells her about the bad juju vibes and also in the cafe is Chase - a rabbit shifter who loves to talk about his "carrot". Turns out Julian tried a spell and has ended Amber up with not one but three lovers. Amber also learns the truth of Julian's feelings and why their cafe has been suffering. I have to admit the suffering part, I had a feeling as it was quite an easy guess but did like the Reverse Harem twist with the different sorts of shifters as it's not every day we read about a handsome "bunny" shifter. I am now looking forward to reading the next book in this series - Sapphire by Eva Delaney.

It was a really nice book to read. I enjoyed reading it. There are many lines to be noted. Good work. hybrid publishing is giving a chance to read both online and offline paperback legally. It will be more good to get appreciation from online readers who are ready to pay for the book to readout.

You can try getting the PLR ebooks which would be a beneficial purchase for you, as you can resell them. It will not show any copyright issues. Digital products are the best for a startup with less investment as it does not need any cost for wirehouse and other extra physical costs.
